By John Timpson
Q: One of my New Year’s resolutions is to do more personal development. What skills do you think a small business owner with 25 employees should focus on?
A: By building a company that employs 25 people, you have graduated from the best business school in the world. Inexperienced MBAs may think they are trained professional managers, but the real pros are those who learn the lessons of experience by running their own enterprises.

Keep your business and life simple by understanding the key ingredients of your success. There’s no need to embrace the new world of management with it...
