And why do we need one?
We live in a world where we take resources from nature, use them to make products, and then throw those products away when we’re done with them. This is called a linear economy, where things move in a straight line: make, use, dispose. But there’s a big problem with this system – we’re running out of resources, and waste is piling up, harming the planet.
A circular economy is a different way of doing things. Instead of throwing things away, we reuse, repair, recycle, and regenerate materials, keeping them in use for as long as possible.
